Twofour Digital has agreed a long term technology partnership deal with Horse & Country TV (HCTV) to support the growth and online development of the niche satellite channel which delivers countryside and equestrian programming.

Twofour took over the design and operation of the site from a service provider which was unable to provide the range and quality of services that HCTV required moving forward. Impressively, the project was completed in just five weeks, and delivers a fully managed hosting and delivery solution, including encoding and transcoding of content from source.

The complete video management platform, for live and on demand H.264 encoded Flash video was specifically designed to fit the HCTV brand, and was developed to allow the site's advertisers maximum exposure by including ads as post and pre-roll buffers, or as a more traditional stream.

The site, which was launched recently at the CLA Game Fair - the UK’s largest country and rural event, currently broadcasts three scheduled channels as well as ‘On Demand’ content via a searchable library - soon to contain around 200 hours of original content.
