Twofour has designed a revolutionary new Internet broadcasting platform, MEDIAFREEDOM, which will debut at IBC 2008. The technology enables anyone from brands and broadcasters to the public and private sectors to power sophisticated webTV and deliver it across multiple platforms.

MEDIAFREEDOM, which has been in development for the last two years, is a platform for hosting content and allows any organisation, brand or broadcaster to deliver it online, through mobile or IPTV via a set-top box. The technology offers content owners complete freedom in the look and feel of their product and does not make a technical choice about video formats, sizes or video quality, how it works or the way in which it integrates with other systems.

Twofour has a team of 40 design & development specialists on hand to consult, design, develop and project manage on behalf of MEDIAFREEDOM clients. The system is behind EuroParlTV, a four channel site due to launch later in September, which streams both live and archived programming in more than 20 EU languages. MEDIAFREEDOM is also being utilised by the UK satellite channel Horse and Country TV and Bucks New University, which has just launched a student run webTV channel. It is also powering Bollywood channels B4U Music and B4U Movies web offerings.
